Nematolampas

Introduction
Nematolampas contains two species each of which are known only from only a few males. One species, N. regalis, is from the subtropical South Pacific and the other, N. venezuelensis, is from the tropical North Atlantic.

- Photophores on arms II and III subterminal.

- Males with single set of genitalia.
Comments
The two species are most easily separated by the structure of arms II. In N. regalis arms II are unmodified in size and shape while in N. venezuelensis they are greatly elongated (but not as long and robust as arms III) and have filamentous tips.
