Title | Giant red shrimp |
Description | A giant red shrimp (possibly Aristeomorpha foliacea) hovers just above the sea floor. Though it appears to be walking on the sediment, it is actually swimming. You can see how quickly it can move, courtesy of a playful eel. This shrimp is about 25 to 30 cm in length. Narration by Jessica Stephen, South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. |
