Agassa

Beetle-like small dendryphantines with robust carapace.

Agassa cyanea and Sassacus papenhoei are closely related though now placed in separate genera; they differ in the form of the carapace.

Identification

One of the most beetle-like of North American salticids. The posterior slope of the carapace is steep.
