Brandon Matheny

Brandon received a PhD from the University of Washington, with Joseph Ammirati and Ben Hall in 2003. At Clark he worked on the "Assembling the Fungal Tree of Life" project as a Post-doctoral Fellow. Currently, Brandon is engaged in studying patterns of diversification in the Agaricomycotina and the Inocybaceae, a family of ectomycorrhizal mushrooms. He continues his systematic interests in Agaricales, avidly collects mushrooms in his spare time, and is quite passionate about Oklahoma football.
