Daniel Proud

I study the ecology, functional morphology and systematics of Opiliones, especially those belonging to Laniatores. Additionally, I am interested in evolution of various behaviors (such as maternal and paternal care) and structures (such as sexually dimorphic glands). I am also interested in broadening my research to include smaller arachnid orders such as Ricinulei and Amblypygi among others.
