I am the managing editor and technical designer of the Tree of Life Web Project and the Species Pages Coordinator for the Encyclopedia of Life. I have a Ph. D. in entomology from the University of Arizona, and I am interested in biodiversity, evolution, phylogeny, and online collaboration and publishing. I also enjoy cooking (and eating), reading, hiking, hunting mushrooms (to admire, eat, and photograph), bugs, or anything else that's alive, and listening to classical music and to podcasts about science and technology.
