Title P. favieri larva attemting to bite an ant larva
Description In this video the larva attempts to pierce an ant larva. It is unsuccessful. However, when offered a damaged ant larva the beetle larva begins to actively suck the host’s hemolymph, demonstrating an aptitude for liquid feeding (shown in a related ToLweb video).
