Type Locality

Roadside ditch 0.7 mile (1.1 km) south of Parksville, McCormick County, South Carolina, on U.S. Highway 221.

Range

Savannah and Saluda river basins in Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, McCormick, and Saluda counties, South Carolina.

Habitat

Burrows and occasionally flooded roadside ditches and pools (primary burrower).
