Title Illustrations

Scientific Name | Microeca fascinans |
---|---|
Location | Buddigower, New South Wales, Australia |
Specimen Condition | Live Specimen |
Behavior | Feeding nestling. The parent arrived with a gigantic spider which it fed to the pushiest chick. The spider didn't go anywhere as the chick practically choked, so the parent removed it from the chick's mouth, played with it for a while then gave it back. It still took a long time for the spider to be eaten and legs were splayed out of the chick's mouth for some time |
