Syntypes, Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris, France (2 male I, female), Carnegie Museum, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania 74.864 (male I).

Type Locality

Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico.

Range

Several localities in the vicinity of Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico.

Habitat

Streams.

Remarks

There are two lots of this crayfish in the Smithsonian collection which appear to bear erroneous data: one from Valles, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and the other from Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico.
