Type Locality

Tributary of the South Fork of the Saline River, 2.4 miles (3.8 km) north of U.S. Highway 70 on a local road 6.5 miles (10.4 km) northeast of Hot Springs (7.7 miles (12.3 km) south-southwest of Owensville), Garland County, Arkansas.

Range

Ouachita and Arkansas river systems in southwestern Arkansas, and the Yazoo Basin in Mississippi.

Habitat

Streams.
