1. Eyes
   1. Medium size (mean eye diameter 33.4% of head width in males and 31.2% in females).
      
      
2. Funnel
   1. Funnel organ V-shaped.
      
      
3. Fins
   1. Moderately long, fin span 64% of total length, 105% of head width.
      
      
4. Gills
   1. Half-orange shape with broad lamellae.
   2. 6-8 primary lamellae/gill.

5. Optic lobes and nerves
   1. Optic lobes spherical.
   2. Single optic nerve bundle passes through/by white body.

6. Digestive tract
   1. Radula absent.
   2. Anterior salivary glands on buccal mass; posterior salivary glands absent.
   3. Esophagus two times intestine in length.
   4. Digestive gland unilobular.

7. Beaks
   1. Lower beak with rounded hood only slightly raised above crest; wings with diagonal flexure; lateral walls without ridges or folds.

8. Male reproductive tract
   1. Accessory gland I largest.

9. Female reproductive tract
   1. Larger distal portion of oviducal gland green or red-brown depending on preservative; proximal portion cream color.

10. Pigmentation
    1. Oral and aboral surfaces of arms with deep purple pigmentation; mantle less pigmented.
