Comments
This is either an American Dwarf Mistletoe (Arceuthobium americanum) or Sheathed Dwarf Mistletoe (A. vaginatum). Because of it's prevalence on ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa), it is most likely the latter.

Comments
I'm not sure if this iris is a rocky mountain iris or an escaped variety. Because of it's location atop Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder, Colorado, I assume it is the former, even though I have not seen a pure white example anywhere. This flower was among others that were the more common purple variety.
