Archaeprepona chromus
Andrew V. Z. BrowerIntroduction
A monotypic neotropical genus, closely related to Prepona and Archaepreopna. In this species, the iridescent blue is confined to the discal area of the hindwing and there are a series of submarginal eyespots reminiscent of those found in Agrias.
