Athyrtis mechanitis

The genus Athyrtis is monotypic. The species Athyrtis mechanitis C. Felder & R. Felder 1862 has three named geographical races. These are: mechanitis C. Felder & R. Felder 1862 from Colombia, oberthueri Srnka 1885 from Ecuador, salvini Srnka 1884 from Peru.
