Getta tica
James S. Miller and Andrew V. Z. Brower
Introduction
Getta tica occurs in Costa Rica and Panama. This species, along with Getta turrenti, were formerly viewed respectively as Central American and Mexican representatives of Getta baetifica but were recognized as distinct by Miller (2009). In costa Rica, the larval host plant is Passiflora (Astrophea) tica.
