Scientific Name | Myiopagis subplacens |
---|---|
Location | Chaparrí Lodge, Chaparrí Private Conservation Area, Lambayeque, Peru |
Comments | Another handsome flycatcher. These are common in the northwest in dry forest and tall scrub up to 1800m, although we only encountered a couple at Chaparrí. Our guide Rudy Gelis ( www.plumaverdetours.com/ ) would never forgive me if I didn't include at least 100 photos from his favourite family, the Tyrant Flycatchers (did I mention there are 100's of flycatcher species in Peru? Most of these are pretty similar, and a real nightmare to separate for the novice). |
