Notascea brevispinula
James S. Miller and Andrew V. Z. BrowerIntroduction
This is the largest species of Notascea, and is known from a single male specimen and possibly two females whose identity is not certain, since the characters that distinguish N. brevispinula from others members of the genus are the small cornuti on the vesica of the edeagus (features of the male genitalia). Its distribution appears to be restricted to the Atlantic coastal forest near Rio de Janeiro.References
