Symmachia busbyi

A rare species from the cloud forest of Ecuador and Peru, known from two specimens recently collected in Ecuador and two historical specimens from Chanchamayo, Peru, discovered in the Natural History Museum (London). The female is unknown.
Holotype
The holotype, a male, is deposited in the Smithsonian Institution. Locality data: Ecuador, Tugarahua, Río Topo, 1300m, 12 Oct. 1988, leg. G. W. Busby.
