A primarily Old-World genus with one well-known boreal and montane species (E. monadnock), another rarer species (erratica), and a widespread species that is not clearly a Euophrys (diminuta). The latter is a small species that can be found under rocks; it might be confused with Chalcoscirtus or Neon.

For more information and links to the species, go to Euophrys in the Tree of Life.
