Coenonympha mcmahoni type species of Lyela
Andrew V. Z. BrowerIntroduction
This species, along with C. amirica and C. myops, from Iran, Afghanistan and Caucasus region, formerly composed the genus Lyela, which has been synonymized with Coenonympha (Kodandaramaiah and Wahlberg 2009).
