Lampronia redimitella
Olle PellmyrAdult Characteristics
Depicted in Razowski (1978). Wingspan 9-11.5 mm. Forewing brown with purple and yellowish sheen. Two pale yellow transverse bands, with the inner band barely reaching costa; males sometimes with an apico-costal spot.
Host, Oviposition, and Larval Feeding Habits
Larva is said to feed on buds of Ribes spicatum and R. alpinum. Adult in May and June.
Geographic Distribution
Northern Europe, including Poland, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Finland, and northwestern Russia.
