Libythea laiusNiklas Wahlberg
Libythea laius is found in eastern Africa, Madagascar, southern India and Sri Lanka. The butterfly flies in savannas, tropical semi-deciduous forests, subtropical forests and woodlands. The host plant of the species is Celtis. Adults can be abundant in some years, with migratory swarms developing.
