Known from two male specimens collected at a single locality the Magdalena Valley, Colombia.
Holotype
The holotype is in the Smithsonian Institution. Locality data: Colombia: Boyacá, Arcabuco, 2200 m., 31 Jan. 1971. leg. SS and S Nicolay.
