Pherepedaliodes
Andrew V. Z. BrowerCharacteristics
The genus is separated from other members of the Pedaliodes s. l. clade by characteristics of the male genitalia:- uncus slender and longer than tegumen;
- subunci short or vestigial;
- narrow valvae with variable dorsal processes;
- aedeagus basally compressed, strongly flattened and incompletely sclerotized, with abundant cornuti (Pyrcz & Rodríguez, 2004).
