Introduction

One of the northernmost-occurring josiines, from southern Mexico and Guatemala. Known from 15 specimens.

Characteristics

Members of the clade of Lyces aurimutua, L. annulata, L. cruciata, L. minuta and L. tamara are recognizable by abdominal markings: they share a lateral orange stripe and a dorsal transverse orange band on A1.
